Under investigation for fraud or embezzlement? An investigation is not a conviction, and decisions made before charges are filed matter.
With a former prosecutor directing the defense, Kolacia Law examines how financial cases are investigated and charged, and prepares each for scrutiny in court.

Rancho Cucamonga White Collar Attorney Who Follows the Paper Trail
A white collar conviction can mean jail or prison, restitution, fines, licensing discipline, damage to a career built on trust and immigration consequences. Kolacia Law handles criminal cases only.
White collar offenses are non-violent crimes of alleged deception or breach of trust for financial gain, and most turn on intent to defraud. The alleged loss drives the charge level, with $950 generally separating misdemeanor from felony-eligible theft, and it shapes enhancements and restitution. Many are wobblers, and some conduct can be prosecuted federally.
These cases often begin with a detective’s call, a subpoena, a search warrant or an employer’s audit rather than an arrest. Rancho Cucamonga contracts with the San Bernardino County Sheriff for policing, and District Attorney investigators, specialized fraud units and state agencies build these files. Area felony and misdemeanor cases are generally heard at the Rancho Cucamonga Courthouse on Haven Avenue.
