So, I used to live in The San Bernardino Mountains in SoCal about 15-20 years ago. I now live in TN. I had an opportunity to foster my grandson here. In the process of being approved to be a foster parent, I was fingerprinted and had to consent to a background check. I did this willingly believing with all my heart that I would be cleared. Much to my shock, however, it came back that I had an active warrant in CA for failure to appear on driving without a license. Now, the reason that this shocked me was because – for the 18 years I lived in CA – I never had a CA license nor did I have a car! Then, I remembered that my fiance’s car, at one point, had been stolen with my purse in it. We were never able to recover it. So, whoever stole his car must’ve shown my ID when they got pulled over! And, this happened a year AFTER we moved off the mountain. Anyway, obviously, I needed a lawyer to help me straighten this out. And, I I needed a lawyer in CA. The first lawyer I contacted wanted an unGodly amount of money. I hung up with him. The next law firm I called was the Dan Kolacia Law Firm. The first person I spoke with was Dan’s secretary. She was very personable. What impressed me is when she said, “I love my boss!”. So, I left a message with her for Dan asking him to call me back. About an hour later, I got a call from Dan. He was super nice. He asked me to tell him what was going on and he seemed genuinely interested. After hearing my story, Dan told me that he thought he could help me. Then, he quoted me a VERY reasonable price. I could’ve cried. In fact, I think I did after hanging up with him. Within a short amount of time, Dan had been able to get this active warrant dismissed from my record!! Shortly after that, my grandson was released to me! Dan did it all from thousands of miles away!
